Comedians Announced for Manford’s Comedy Club

Trinity Arts Centre is delighted to be the Lincolnshire venue for the Manford’s Comedy Club, and are eagerly anticipating their latest visit on Saturday, 27th June, even more so now that the line-up of comedians is complete.

The evening’s MC will be Aaron Twitchen. Birmingham based, Aaron has quickly gained a reputation as a reliable, likable act with his own brand of intelligent, bubbly and frank stand-up, and as well as being a stand-up comedian he’s also an actor and a trained circus performer. In 2012 he took his first solo show ‘Quarter Life Crisis’ to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to great reviews, with his ongoing solo show ‘Can’t Stop A Rainbow’ also a huge success at the festival in 2019.

Rob Rouse will also be taking to the Trinity stage. He’s one of comedy’s most lively, loveable and dynamic performers, having won Channel 4’s prestigious ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition at the Edinburgh Festival back in 1998. Since then he’s become one of the best comic storytellers around, performing all over the world and working long form narratives into hard-hitting, uncompromising hilarious tales filled with warmth and a sense of compassion for our collective human frailties.

And they’ll be joined by rising star Sam Strachen as well as headliner Michael Fabbri, a regular face on the UK comedy circuit for twenty years. Michael has been a stand-up since 2003 and regularly performs in comedy clubs throughout the UK and all over the world. He’s worked as a writer for Radio and TV and had his own stand-up series, ‘Dyslexicon’, on BBC Radio 4 and has done several solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as worked as a support act for Micky Flanagan, Lucy Porter, and Angela Barnes.

Manford’s Comedy Club was launched by comedian Jason Manford. The idea was to bring comedians from the UK circuit to small towns and cities across the country for a night of live comedy. The show features up and coming performers as well as more well-known names and are all personally chosen by Jason himself.

Another great evening of original and hilarious comedy awaits on Saturday, 27th June!
